Basic information was collected by means of an online survey in which respondents were asked to rate the importance of individual parameters for different process types.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More than 300 experts from the Alpine Space were invited via email to contribute to this survey, which could be retrieved for four weeks on the internet<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The intention was to collect information about the following five natural hazard processes:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"gutenberg__list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Floods in torrent catchments<\/li><li>Debris flows<\/li><li>Spontaneous landslides in loose material<\/li><li>Rock fall<\/li><li>Avalanches<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Both the method and the interpretation results of the questionnaire are published now and available as a download.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Download<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bfw.gv.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/paramount_expertenbefragung_111122_engl.pdf\">Paramount_expert_survey_111122_engl<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bfw.gv.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/paramount_expertenbefragung_111122_engl.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button\" download>Herunterladen<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Within the framework of the project PARAmount a Communication and Decision Support Tool (CDT) was developed, as a contribution to the highly emotional discussion about natural hazard management.
