The Forest Training Centre Ossiach stands for practical and future-oriented knowledge transfer in the field of forestry and forest management. The diverse range of courses on offer extends from vocational training as a “forestry worker” and “master forester” to training and further education in chainsaw use, cable skidding, timber hauling, forest management, forest education and numerous other specialist seminars. Sound theory is combined with intensive practical training.

The location on Lake Ossiach also offers ideal conditions for relaxation and events. Twenty-two comfortable rooms and two apartments with breakfast buffet ensure a pleasant stay. Modern seminar rooms with catering are also available for external events, conferences and workshops.
