The Traunkirchen Forestry Training Centre started operations at the new location in Traunkirchen on 1.9.2018. Its main task is the training and further education of all those working in forestry and those interested in the forest in theory and practice. Pupils from agricultural and forestry colleges take advantage of special course offerings within the framework of their specialist training. In addition to the forestry training track (for example, forestry skilled worker courses, forestry master courses and harvester driving courses), FAST Traunkirchen offers a wide range of forestry seminars on all current issues of forest management and ecosystem management.
