Effective from 1 June 2006, soil mapping has been integrated into the Federal Forest Research and Training Centre for Forests, Natural Hazards and Landscape as Unit of Agricultural Soil Mapping and Geoinformation, following reorganisation of government-owned research institutions in Austria.
